It Takes a Colony

Success at Clark College Softball is built by more than the athletes on the field. It takes coaches, families, alumni, fans, and community supporters working together to create a meaningful collegiate experience. This year, we're asking our colony to help us invest in two priorities: replacing sun-damaged field padding to ensure our athletes continue to compete safely on one of the premier softball facilities in the NWAC and enhancing the student-athlete experience through wellness and team-building opportunities.

Keeping Our Penguins Safe at Home

Our home field is a source of pride for the Clark College community. Thanks to the dedication of our coaches, athletes, and supporters, Clark College Softball has been recognized as having one of the best fields in the NWAC for the past two years.

Our Penguins deserve a field that reflects the quality of their commitment and hard work. Unfortunately, the protective padding surrounding the field has sustained significant sun damage and is becoming a safety concern. Replacing this padding will help ensure our student-athletes can continue to compete in a safe environment while maintaining the championship-caliber facility our program is known for.

Creating a First-Class Experience for Our Penguins

Being a student-athlete is about more than practices and games. We want our Penguins to have opportunities to connect, recover, grow, and thrive throughout their college journey.

Your support will help fund experiences such as:

Team retreats that strengthen leadership and team culture
Yoga and mobility sessions that promote recovery and injury prevention
Wellness and restoration experiences, including a recovery day at Kennedy School Soaking Pools
Team-building opportunities that create lasting memories and stronger bonds

These experiences help our athletes stay healthy, build resilience, and develop skills that extend far beyond the softball field.
