Students like Ray who, came to Clark on the GI Bill. After leaving the US Navy in 2007, he faced the challenges of adapting to civilian life while dealing with a diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Many support areas within the Clark College community helped him succeed. Penguin Pantry, the Veterans Center of Excellence, and Child and Family Studies represent the places and services where Ray finds assistance to help him succeed in the classroom. The Clark College Student Success Fund includes programs that support students beyond tuition and books.
