What does it take to become the next Alisa Weilerstein, Wei‑Ping Chou, Michael Fabiano, Christian McBride, or Jason Moran?
It takes practice. Hard work. More practice. And the expertise and mentorship of an excellent instructor.
Every music major at Clark College enrolls in six quarters of one‑on‑one lessons on their primary instrument as part of the Clark College DTA degree. These individualized lessons are essential to student growth, confidence, and professional preparation.
Here is what that support comes together:
- 50+ music students enrolled each year
- Three quarters of study per student
- A $240 Music Lesson Scholarship for every student
Total annual need: $36,000
Thank you for making it a practice to pay it forward and invest in the next generation of musicians.
