At The McClaskey Culinary Institute, we are dedicated to shaping the next generation of culinary professionals. This year, the McClaskey Culinary Institute is proud to host our First Annual Culinary Competition in May. This exciting event will welcome both local high school students and our current first year Cuisine Management students. The competition will challenge participants to demonstrate their technical expertise, creativity, and mastery of industry standards.
Competitors will be evaluated on organization, knife skills, cooking techniques, creative presentation, sanitation, and food safety, as well as the overall quality and flavor of their dishes. In recognition of excellence, scholarship opportunities to MCI will be awarded to the top performers.
