STEM Outreach
We are building the next generation of STEM leaders — starting with the students who've been historically left out of the conversation.
Our STEM outreach program connects STEM Professors directly with K–12 schools through on-site STEM events, college visits for middle and high schoolers, and a free summer STEM camp for women and BIPOC high school students. Every experience is designed to show young systemically non-dominant students that STEM isn't just possible for them — it is for them and it's FUN.

NERD Cave
The NERD Cave is a free student resource space located in Clark College's STEM Building, designed to address food insecurity and create a welcoming community hub for all students. Stocked with coffee, tea, cereal, healthy snacks, school supplies, and feminine hygiene products, the NERD Cave ensures that no student has to choose between eating and studying. Thanks to generous donor support, a small refrigerator was added — making hot meals and frozen breakfast sandwiches available too. Last fall alone, the NERD Cave served over 775 students. Faculty and students gather to recharge, connect, and collaborate.
